Nick Nelson combines fifteen years of commercial litigation experience with practical business sense. Nick understands that every dispute - and every big decision along the way - is a cost-benefit assessment that takes into account the needs, goals, and resources of the client. Whether that means seeking an early resolution or fighting for a must-have result, Nick believes a successful outcome requires mutual trust and clear communication between counsel and client, and a deep understanding of the facts and the law.
Based in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, Nick has served as first and second chair in trials and arbitrations around the country. He was previously a litigation partner at Wick Phillips Gould & Martin, LLP and a senior litigation associate at Haynes and Boone, LLP. Nick also served as in-house counsel for the Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas. He has represented companies and individuals in a variety of complex disputes in many industries. He has been recognized as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers in multiple years.
